The Reinvention

I spend my life trying to think, trying to say what is wrong with humanity, trying to state and label the problems, the issues, to be overcome. But this is easy. What is hard is to say what is right with humanity. For everything we do is motivated and structured around chaos. Remove chaos, and you have nothing. Our factions, our enjoyment, our wants and needs, have all evolved around the fight to keep the darkness at bay. Positive fears negative. One fights with zero. Something is always a few steps away from nothing. Taste is the reward for not starving. Sex is the reward for self replacing. Laughter is the relief that normality is intact. Music is the call to love or hate. Art and expression is practice. So why am I saying this? Is this yet another finger point at our inequities? No, it is not. What we have now is beautiful. What I am saying is the truth, nothing more, nothing less. We are defined by chaos. How familiar does this concept sound? It has been said before, many times, in different forms, proclaimed whenever someone somewhere works it out, like myself. Echoing through the ages, the truth endures. But when the war is finally won, when every single particle of existence has indestructible meaning and purpose, humanity will face its worst crisis of identity since it was protein rich slime. The reinvention will be quite something to witness.
