Never mind Gaza! What about our bloody lightbulbs?

On nearly every front page of today’s newspapers the war in Gaza was analysed and the humanitarian crisis deplored. Apart from the Daily Mail, which chose to whinge about consumers being ‘robbed’ of the right to buy ‘beloved’ 100 watt light bulbs by evil EU officials, intent on furthering their sinister environmental crusade. Alongside this was some standard Mail health scare bollocks about the supposed health risks of low energy light bulbs. Today they sunk to an all new low. They, and their readers, are pathetic.
