False Martyrdom

Israel is starting a flat out invasion of Gaza with the intention of destroying Hamas. This will only result in transforming Hamas into martyrs ‘of the people’, a cruel irony and a testament to the way in which hatred fuels ignorance considering that Hamas's hot headed actions are the primary source of misery for both peoples. Whilst it is important to be mindful of the past, we must forget that which is not applicable to the modern context.
