The Inevitability of Karen Matthews

A few months ago it hit the papers that a girl called Shannon Matthews had been kidnapped. It then transpired that the kidnapping had been staged by the mother so as to trouser all the money raised by tabloid appeals. Today she was sentenced. All the tabloids have her hollow and tearful face on their covers, branding her ‘evil’, which I think, as tabloid demonisation campaigns go, is a little harsh. She’s just a stupid chav woman who made the stupid mistake of pulling a stupid scam to get some stupid amount of money just so that she can live the stupid dream foistered on her by those very same stupid tabloids who sell all that stupid ‘celeb glamour gossip showbiz’ bollocks that most stupid chavs live on. She is now paying the price. She has lost everything. Stupid and idiotic though her actions may have been, I think now is the time to leave her alone.
