The Plight of the Tree Surgeon
It occurred to me how awful it must be to be a tree surgeon. When I walk among the trees my untrained eyes see only wood and leaves swaying in the dappled light. But a tree surgeon would see a field of disease and deformation, unsightly growths, peeling bark and rotting wood in an unsightly orange glow. A sensitive tree surgeon would go quite mad.
